Who we are
Jack's Fish Club LLC is a Florida limited liability company based in Miami, FL, USA. We are the "controller" of the personal information described here. Questions go through the contact form.
What we collect
What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, company, and your message. Nothing on this site requires an account, a password, or a payment.
What arrives automatically. Like every website, the server that delivers these pages records basic technical information about each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time, and the referring page. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for security and to keep the site running. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
What we do not collect. No precise location, no biometric data, no financial account numbers, no government identifiers, and no sensitive categories of data. Please don't send them through the form.
How we use it
- To reply to you and, if you ask for one, to arrange a walkthrough or send a proposal.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To keep records we're required to keep, for example of an engagement we agree to.
Where the law asks us to name a legal basis (EU, UK, and similar jurisdictions): we process what you send us because you asked us to respond (steps before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering), and technical logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in security. We never use your information for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
Who sees it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We never have. The only third parties that handle it are the services we use to run the site and our email: our hosting provider, which receives form submissions and server logs, and our email provider. They process it on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. We will disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
If we ever transfer the business, your information may go with it, under this same policy.
How long we keep it
Messages and enquiries: as long as we're in a conversation with you, and up to three years after the last contact unless we're working together, in which case for the life of the engagement plus the period Florida law requires for business records. Server logs: typically 30 to 90 days, set by the hosting provider. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner; see your rights.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies. The home page stores one short flag in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays once per visit rather than on every page load; it holds no personal information, is never sent to us, and disappears when you close the tab. Because there is nothing to consent to, there is no cookie banner. Third-party demos and videos on this site are served from our own files, not from an outside platform.
We honor Global Privacy Control and "Do Not Track" signals in the only way that matters here: there is no tracking to turn off.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS where hosted. Submissions live in our hosting provider's form system and in our mailbox, and access to both is limited to us. Our internal practices for client data are described on the AI privacy page. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
International visitors
We are in the United States and your information is processed here. If you contact us from the EU, UK, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, or elsewhere, you're sending it to the US, where the law may differ from your own. We protect it as described in this policy regardless of where you are.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Send a request through the contact form and we'll respond within 30 days (45 for California requests, extendable once as the law allows). We'll need enough information to confirm it's you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states. You have the rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, do not use it for targeted advertising, and do not collect sensitive personal information. You may authorize an agent to make a request for you.
EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time.
Canada, Brazil, Australia and elsewhere. Equivalent rights under PIPEDA, the LGPD, the Privacy Act, and similar laws apply, and the same contact form is the way to use them.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local threshold). If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us through the contact form and we will delete it.
Client data is different
Information we handle for a client during an engagement (their inventory, customers, documents, books) is governed by that engagement's agreement, not this policy. For that data we act as a processor on the client's instructions. How we handle it, and what a generative model ever sees, is set out plainly on the AI privacy page.
Other sites
We link to client websites and to a few outside services. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use information you've already given us will be sent to the email you used.
